Constructional details
The design to the enclosure is square-skirt type. The cover is fixed to the box by external hinges and self-retained
thumbscrews. After loosening the thumbscrews, the cover can swing open up to 180 degrees, thus permitting
complete access to fuses and terminals. Flange openings are provided with rubber gaskets on the top and bottom
of the enclosure for cable entry. An interlock between the switch and the door provided in the handle coupling
assembly which is fixed to the door, prevents it from opening in the ON position. The box and the cover, powder
coated in two-tone colour, lends an attractive appearance to the enclosure.
